My name is Ryan Andersen.  I am a dedicated educator with over 17 years of experience in both general and special education. I hold a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Aurora University and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from Roosevelt University, along with multiple Illinois State Teaching Licenses. Throughout my career, I have developed and implemented curricula that meet diverse student needs, actively participated in school committees, and held coaching roles for speech, debate, cross country, and robotics teams. In my most recent role at Our Lady of The Wayside School, I created a positive academic tone and cultivated a culture of success, drawing on my extensive experience in various educational roles.

I am deeply committed to helping students better understand and grow in their Catholic faith by integrating faith-based learning into the curriculum. My approach focuses on building strong relationships with students, parents, and faculty, ensuring an environment of continuous improvement and educational excellence. As a dependable mentor, I strive to foster an atmosphere where students can achieve their full potential and deepen their spiritual beliefs.
