Where Faith and Learning Feel Like Home

Academics

Academic Excellence Rooted in Faith
At Queen of the Rosary School, your child will grow in faith, character and knowledge. Our faith-based academic program nurtures curious minds, confident learners and compassionate leaders, preparing students not just for the next grade, but for a meaningful life. With dedicated teachers, small class sizes, and a commitment to the whole child, we help each student thrive spiritually, intellectually and socially from Preschool through Middle School.

Come see how faith and learning feel like home.

Queen of the Rosary School is small and intimate and your education is better because teachers are able to work more one on one with you. —Adorina G. (Alumni)

Faith and Wonder: Early Childhood (PK3/4)

At Queen of the Rosary School, the littlest learners take their first big steps in a warm, faith-filled environment. They’re introduced to school life, build friendships and grow in confidence—supported by our experienced faculty and surrounded by God’s love. Children develop a strong sense of self and discover just how wonderful learning can be!

Every day is a new adventure—growing hearts, minds and faith one little step at a time!

  • An integral part of our school and parish family, pre-kindergartners get the full school spirit experience—beginning school Mass attendance (Holy Days of Obligation), cheering at rallies, celebrating as Cougars of the Month and teaming up with older buddies who show them the ropes!
  • Learning is more fun when you’re moving and grooving, so even our littlest Cougars jump, dance and sing their way through weekly music and gym classes.
  • Students enjoy exploring our Outdoor Classroom, Sensory Room and Library.

In PreK4, students learn to hear the sounds in words as they are introduced to Heggerty Phonics Curriculum and use iPads to enrich Phonics and Printing Development.

Bright Foundations: Primary Education (K-2)

In our primary classrooms, students thrive in a supportive, hands-on learning environment that makes every child feel seen and valued. With a focus on building a strong relationship with Jesus, young learners sharpen their reading, writing and math skills through fun, interactive activities tailored to each child’s unique learning style. Every student is challenged to grow at their own pace, while developing important social skills and friendships along the way!

It’s a beautiful beginning- where faith, fun and learning go hand in hand!

Ready to Rise: Elementary Education (3-5)

In grades 3–5, students at Queen of the Rosary School begin to shine in new ways—taking on greater responsibility, growing in independence and leveling up in both academics and character. With a faith-filled foundation and supportive teachers by their side, students dive deeper into core subjects, develop strong study habits and build the confidence needed for Middle School success.

Plus, starting in 4th grade, students are eligible to join our Athletics program—learning teamwork, sportsmanship and Cougar pride both in the classroom and on the field!

It’s a time of big leaps, bold learning and becoming who God made them to be.

Leading with Purpose: Jr. High (6-8)

Our Jr. High students are growing into leaders—confident, capable and grounded in their Catholic faith. In grades 6–8, students take on greater academic challenges, develop critical thinking skills and deepen their personal responsibility as they prepare for high school and beyond.

With a strong focus on faith formation, service and leadership, our middle schoolers are encouraged to ask big questions, embrace their God-given gifts and make a meaningful impact in their community.

It’s a time of transformation where students grow in character, purpose and wisdom.

The Cougar experience isn’t just about hitting the books—it’s about unleashing creativity! With a variety of Enrichment and Co-Curricular programs, students have the chance to explore talents, develop new skills and dive into interests beyond the classroom.

Technology

Get ready to plug in and power up! With iPads in PreK-2nd and 1:1 Chromebooks in 3–8, plus access to our Learning Media Center, STEAM instruction and Robotics Club, you’ll build the tech skills you need to thrive in a fast-changing world. Whether you’re coding, researching or creating, technology at Queen of the Rosary School helps you think big, work smart and stay curious.

Social Emotional Learning

At Queen of the Rosary School, we know that the connection between emotional well-being and academic success is stronger than ever. That’s why Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is an everyday part of classroom life from preschool through junior high. Each grade incorporates age-appropriate lessons and activities that help students understand their emotions, build healthy relationships, and grow in confidence. While our smaller class sizes allow us to focus on the individual needs of each child, our teachers and staff prioritize the emotional well-being of every student—no matter how many we serve.

To support this mission, we’ve created intentional spaces throughout our campus. Our PreK–5th grade wing includes a dedicated SEL classroom filled with calming areas, sensory tools, and learning aids, thoughtfully designed with the expertise of early childhood educator Mrs. Ellefson. Our Jr. High classrooms also include regulation areas, and our spacious Library Media Center offers additional calming spaces where students can work, reset, and recharge.

Many of our teachers have completed extensive SEL training—including pilot programs, specialized professional development, and university-level coursework—giving them the tools to guide students with research-based practices that support their emotional growth. And while our Catholic faith is always our foundation, SEL strengthens the way we teach compassion, self-awareness, communication, and problem-solving. Together, faith and SEL help our students grow into kind, confident, and mindful young people ready to shine in and beyond the classroom.
