History of Queen of the Rosary School
Queen of the Rosary School is one of the three oldest schools in Elk Grove Village—established alongside Ridge and Rupley Schools in 1959. Cardinal Meyer appointed Fr. John Ward Morrison to lead the newly-formed Queen of the Rosary Parish, and later that year, classes began in the convent with the Sisters of the Resurrection, who faithfully served our parish and school community until 1989. For more than six decades, we’ve proudly carried on a tradition of Catholic faith formation and academic excellence, shaping generations of students and families.
