At Queen of the Rosary School, learning is always an adventure—and sometimes, it’s a blessing too! Following Christmas break, Fr. Dan made a special visit to each classroom, carrying chalk and a timeless tradition in hand. With prayers and a sprinkle of holy dust (a.k.a. chalk!), he blessed the doorways and shared the beautiful custom of marking them for Epiphany.

Students were captivated, but our 7th Graders were especially intrigued. “Why chalk?” “What do the numbers and letters mean?” “Can we do this at home?” Their curiosity turned into a lively discussion about the Magi, journeys of faith and how we welcome Christ into our homes and hearts every day.

This is the kind of moment that sets Queen of the Rosary School apart:

Faith in Action: Our students learn not just about our Catholic traditions but experience them in ways that enrich their daily lives.

Curiosity Ignited: We encourage questions and deeper exploration—because every “Why?” is a doorway to discovery.

Community Connection: With Fr. Dan’s blessing, we’re reminded that faith isn’t confined to Sundays; it’s alive in our classrooms, hallways and homes.

At Queen of the Rosary School, we don’t just teach faith; we make it come alive. Come visit us to see how your child can grow in spirit, mind and heart—chalk blessings included!
