On Wednesday, April 13, Queen of the Rosary had their first Easter Basket Contest sponsored by Student Council. Student council sold Easter Baskets for $5 dollars and students took them home to decorate. Over fifty baskets were entered in the contest with a combination of family baskets and individual student baskets. The student body voted on their favorite baskets by dropping a ticket in the numbered bag assigned to the basket.
Many of the baskets were donated to Elk Grove Township. Thank you to the students and families that participated, Mr. McDonough, and the student council. Everyone was excited to see the number of participants and how creative the baskets were decorated!
