School Advisory Board. Guiding with Wisdom. Leading with Faith

The School Advisory Board serves as the primary consultative body to the principal and pastor, helping to ensure the continued growth, vitality and mission alignment of Queen of the Rosary School.
Made up of dedicated parents and parishioners, the Board collaborates across four key committees: Mission Effectiveness, Fiscal Management, Institutional Advancement and Strategic Planning—working together to support our Catholic identity, strong academics and long-term sustainability.

New this year: The School Advisory Board, in partnership with our Principal, Clergy and Faculty, will also participate in a Disciplinary Committee to help ensure that our classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, courts and fields remain places of welcome, respect and joy for every student.

Select meetings are open to the public, and elections for new board members are held each June to prepare for the upcoming school year. If you’re passionate about Catholic education and ready to make a difference, we invite you to learn more and get involved!

These important documents reflect our commitment to a safe, welcoming, and faith-filled environment for every student.

Zero Tolerance Bullying Policy

Creating a Culture of Christ-like Compassion, Respect and Safety. At Queen of the Rosary School, we believe every child is made in the image and likeness of God and deserves to learn in a safe, respectful and joyful environment. That’s why we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for bullying and are committed to fostering a culture where kindness leads, respect is mutual and students are empowered to support one another.

What Is Bullying? Bullying is more than a conflict between peers—it’s an intentional act of aggression, whether verbal, physical, social or cyber, that targets another person and causes harm or distress.

Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Repeated teasing, name-calling or exclusion
  • Physical intimidation or threats
  • Spreading rumors or social sabotage
  • Harassment through texts or social media

Reporting Bullying. We encourage students and families to speak up early and often. Concerns may be reported to:

  • The classroom teacher
  • Mr. Andersen, Queen of the Rosary School principal
  • Any trusted staff member

All reports will be treated seriously, confidentially and with compassion.

How We Respond. All allegations of bullying are promptly reviewed by a Disciplinary Committee made up of:

  • School Principal
  • Clergy
  • Faculty members
  • Representatives from the School Advisory Board

This team works collaboratively to:

  • Investigate the incident thoroughly
  • Ensure due process for all students involved
  • Determine appropriate consequences and/or restorative actions
  • Communicate clearly and transparently with families

Our Commitment. We are committed to:

  • Keeping our classrooms, hallways and playgrounds friendly and inclusive
  • Helping all students develop social emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills
  • Partnering with parents to reinforce respectful behavior at home and school
  • Providing resources or interventions when needed

Let’s Work Together. It takes a united community to nurture a safe, faith-filled learning environment. Thank you for partnering with us to uphold a culture where every child is free to learn, grow and thrive—free from fear and full of joy.

If you have questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Ryan Andersen at (847) 437-3322 or randersen@qrcougars.org.
