Our Story

Faith, Tradition & Excellence Since 1959

  • Founded in 1959 by Cardinal Albert Meyer, one of Elk Grove Village’s original schools and still the only Catholic school serving the community today.
  • Proudly the largest ministry of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish, staying true to our Catholic identity as we grow and evolve.
  • ISBE accredited and recognized as National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence in 2011, recognized for strong academics and whole-child formation.
  • Serving 3-Year Old PreK–8th Grade with age appropriate curriculum plus daily faith formation, weekly Mass and year-round service projects.
  • 1:1 Technology: iPads for Preschool 3- 2nd grade; Chrome Books for grades 3-8.
  • Low Student-Teacher Ratio: 13:1 student teacher ratio, aides in Pre-School & Kindergarten classrooms.
